Lively yet strong, the ‘Simulations Series’ takes us on a Tour d'Horizont rooted in a surreal alpine landscape. Titles such as 'Passenger', 'Camouflage' or 'Panorama' highlight the bonds between the indigenous and the man-made, drawing attention to the gaze and perception of our natural environment. The ’Simulations Series’ presents for the first time how the Hot Wire Extensions process can be combined and merged with found materials and eclectic elements. Using these materials or ‘ready-mades’ all found in close vicinity to Fabio Hendry’s studio, the series revitalises and recontextualises leftover materials in surprisingly referential bricolages.
