The Earth Lamp is a handcrafted table lamp in warm, burnt terracotta tones. Its solid base, with subtle irregularities and nuanced hues, gives each piece a distinctive character. A brass socket connects the base to a flared bell-shaped lampshade in a deep matte brown.
Vincent Decat is a Paris-based artist and designer.
Graduated from the Design Academy of Eindhoven, he creates Collectible design pieces that integrate sculptural thinking into everyday use. His work is characterized by forms that suggest life and movement, pieces that seem to breathe or shift. These animal-like qualities transform functional objects into personal and engaging pieces. By creating pieces that feel almost alive, he encourages a relationship of care more than consumption.They become companions that people want to preserve and cherish over time.
