The Heron chair carries a monolithic presence, fragmented, sculptural, and airy in structure. Designed as an everyday companion, its lines quietly suggest a reassuring, inhabited form.This piece has been made in collaboration with a French metalworker and leather Artisan.
Vincent Decat is a Paris-based artist and designer.
Graduated from the Design Academy of Eindhoven, he creates Collectible design pieces that integrate sculptural thinking into everyday use. His work is characterized by forms that suggest life and movement, pieces that seem to breathe or shift. These animal-like qualities transform functional objects into personal and engaging pieces. By creating pieces that feel almost alive, he encourages a relationship of care more than consumption.They become companions that people want to preserve and cherish over time.
